Collaborating with The Nature Conservancy (TNC) to design strategy and investments for delivering nature and community positive freshwater aquaculture in Africa and Latin America. Our ongoing work:

Critical assessment of freshwater aquaculture and interactions with biodiversity and local communities.
Scoping of freshwater aquaculture stakeholders, funding and policy landscapes.
Identifying investment opportunities for nature and community-positive freshwater aquaculture.

To build a Global Sustainable Aquaculture Roadmap that catalyses science-based action to create change at scale and shift the entire aquaculture system towards healthy and sustainable blue food value chains. Our current goals and objectives:

Identify key pathways for action through a global sustainable aquaculture roadmap that can create change at scale towards a sustainable aquaculture system by 2030.
Identify two countries through a scoping exercise to pilot national sustainable aquaculture roadmaps in Africa and Asia.

Investing in and developing pond-based Tilapia and catfish aquaculture business in Sierra Leone. Our current goals and objectives:

Undertaking an Economic Feasibility Assessment for aquaculture enterprise development.
Providing commercially viable Tilapia and Catfish Aquaculture technologies.
Investment and project implementation plan.

Review of the barriers to the expansion of tilapia aquaculture for development in PNG, Solomon Islands and Timor-Leste. Our current goals and objectives:

Design interventions for sustainable Tilapia Aquaculture, with emphasis on seed, feed and enterprise solutions.
